CA   I am an experienced machinist and new bench rest shooter.  I saw two match-winners using your flags.  Because they are expensive, I attempted to duplicate them.  My advice to anyone is don’t even try.  After about $200 and three weeks I am not finished and don’t have everything I need.  Your wind flags are much more technically complicated than the pictures show.  I have stopped attempting to make my own.  Please, please send me four of the 12 in long tails.

  • Chris – Tacoma, WA  What is your delivery time?  I ordered 2 wind flags from a local provider.  Six weeks and I haven’t gotten them or even a status.  I have asked for a refund, but no response.  Hope I am not out $130.  Then I found out that I need special adapters and didn’t order them before I can use them at more cost.  Does yours come with adapters?
  • Butch – Springfield, MO  I wanted to thank you for convincing me that the ball-bearing adapters would make a difference.  I thought the wind was just blowing differently at different places.  Now with your adapters, my flags work together and I can trust them.  Just one more thing I don’t have to worry about.

Smith, AR  Didn’t expect the sample of your new wind flag adapter with the bearings.  Here is what I found out,  WOW my flag is so much better, I had no idea that this little thing would make such a difference.  It made them act smooth and almost fluid in its action. I am hesitant to share my discovery with anyone as I now have an advantage.  Please invoice me for the sample and send 3 more in red.  Do you want the adapters that I bought for my flags?  Sorry I didn’t get yours first.
  • Russell – Trenton, NJ  Thanks for the sample, I tried it today and it is much better than the adapter made by the wind flag maker.  No longer is my flag hearty, jerky just smooth and deliberate.  It seems to be more sensitive,  Allow me to pay for the sample and send 3 more same red as the sample.

  • Lou – Spokane, WA  I have a set of XXX wind flags and the front is made of a round wooden ball.  They are starting to split, showing cracks and the black paint is beginning to chip off.  I had to buy special adapters for them and they have to be used for individual wind flags, not interchangeable and the space between them and the wind flag is terrible.  It is expensive to replace them so can you provide a reasonable cost solution?  The balls are heavy and glued on.

  • Jim – Mesa, AZ  Why don’t you make wind flag stuff for air rifles?  I found one from here in Arizona selling for over $300.  Saw it blown over by the wind and it was destroyed, never to work again. The thing was going crazy trying to be extremely sensitive.  None of us could figure out what it was trying to do.  But we did have a good laugh.

  • Clark – Hawthorne, CA  Can’t understand why most wind flags sold are said to be extremely sensitive and then suggesting tilting them backward toward the vane to slow the shaking.  Don’t people know that this is adding friction and slowing down the response?  Extreme Sensitivity appears to be confusing and maybe not correctly used too many times.  Looks like MTC has solved this.  My MTC flags are 4 years old and I use them a lot.  Thanks for coming up with many better ideas.

  • Jerry – Lincoln, NB  So very cool.  I like the in and out wind direction indicator.  Being reversible I choose the white side for outgoing.  No other flag does this.  Did you make it adjustable so it won’t block the wind from reaching the tail?  Impressive arrow logo graphics.

  • Clark – Hawthorne, CA  Read where if you break or shoot a Daisy Wheel, just cut off the opposite blade.  Don’t they understand that an unbalanced Daisy Wheel will shake?  These are the same ones that don’t know how strong wind energy is.  As you wrote it’s a GUESS.
