MTC views adding options as an admission that something will or can improve performance for a price. Selling any product that requires additional components is not acceptable to MTC. Any product should stand upon its own and offer only the best it can without the need of anything else being added. In several cases, some of our items are adaptable to other manufacturer’s products. This situation is viewed as “Choice” and not “Options” because no additional cost is requested. Additionally, our products utilize standard mounting applications and have avoided any unique situations.
Stands and posts are available from numerous sources and for MTC to sell these would be only a “Pass-thru” adding handling and shipping cost to our customers. Some criticize the use of stands or tripods, claiming they can fall over and damage the wind flag. A simple fix is to attach something heavy to the lower portion of the stand, this will protect your investment and stabilize the stand more than a post. Unless the post is of a robust design, they are usually flexible at higher heights, making balance difficult to maintain, Some are unique to a particular product and modification or replacement will be necessary if a new or different product is chosen and they aren’t always cheap.
